Dear Friends and Neighbors:
I am running for the South Hadley Selectboard. The voter registration deadline is Tuesday, March 18 and the election is Monday, April 7, 2008. I hope you will help me win!

Why am I running?
My great-great grandparents came to South Hadley from Ireland in 1861 and my family has been here ever since. After growing up in South Hadley, and leaving for 20 years after college, in 1993 I came back to a town that I have come to appreciate anew. I am ready to work hard and well with others to help to provide good leadership. My knowledge of South Hadley and my experience has prepared me well to contribute to the Selectboard and to the town.

What will I do if I am elected?
I will work to:
—Promote wise economic development
—Improve the structure of town government
—Protect neighborhoods, open space, and the town’s history
