Fact: The above newspaper story from the Holyoke Transcript of March 5, 1935, reports the election of my grandfather, Gerald A. Judge, as a South Hadley Selectman. He was defeated for reelection three years later.

Fact: This is the 1910 “Republican Caucus” ballot, showing that Gerald’s father, Martin J. Judge, won with 153 votes. His address was “Dwight Avenue.”
